The South Haven project is a 57,000 square foot skilled nursing and assisted living facility with 67 units, a memory support wing, chapel, and a commercial kitchen. The facility is designed to look and feel like a small community main street with shops and small stores. Morrissey Engineering provided the mechanical and electrical design for the facility. This project was completed in October 2004.

Morrissey Engineering designed the mechanical and electrical systems for the new Heritage Care Center for Vetter Health Services in Gering, Nebraska. This 85,000 square foot $9M building, designed by RDG Planning and Design, was designed with the look and feel of small communities with a main street that includes shops and small stores. Vetter Centers are well known nationally for facilities that provide needs beyond routine care and dignity of life for their occupants, making them a benchmark in the industry.

The building accommodates multiple levels of care from independent living to skilled nursing with special areas designated for dementia and Alzheimer's residents.
